Ambassador of Georgia held meetings at FPS Foreign Affairs of Belgium

H.E. Vakhtang Makharoblishvili, the Ambassador of Georgia to the Kingdom of Belgium and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Head of the Georgian Mission to the EU, held meetings with Mr. Philippe Benoit, Director for East and Southeast Europe in the Central Asia Department, and Mr. Christophe de Bassompierre, Director for External Relations in the EU Department of the FPS Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade, and Development Cooperation of the Kingdom of Belgium.

 

During the meetings, the parties discussed ongoing bilateral relations between Georgia and Belgium, as well as issues related to the EU-Georgia agenda and regional security. The Belgian side received a comprehensive update on the upcoming parliamentary elections in Georgia.

 

The parties agreed to continue their active cooperation.
