Embassy of Georgia to the Kingdom of Belgium

On 15 May 2026, in Chisinau, within the framework of the 135th Session of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe, The Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Maka Botchorishvili, met with the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Xavier Bettel.

On February 18, 2026, at the Embassy of Georgia to the Kingdom of Belgium and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Mission of Georgia to the European Union, Ambassador Vakhtang Makharoblishvili hosted the representatives of the Defence Institution Building School (DIBS) and the Defence Forces of Georgia who are participating in “Defence and Security Senior Program” organized by the Netherlands Institute of International Relations Clingendael.

On February 10, 2026 Ambassador of Georgia to the Kingdom of Belgium and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Head of the Mission of Georgia to the European Union, H.E. Vakhtang Makharoblishvili held a meeting with the President of the Chamber of Representatives of the Federal Parliament of Belgium, Mr. Peter de Roover.

On February 4, 2026 H.E. Vakhtang Makharoblishvili, Ambassador of Georgia to the Kingdom of Belgium and Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Head of Georgian Mission to the European Union paid a working visit to the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.

On 17 January 2026 the Embassy of Georgia in Brussels hosted a Christmas event for children attending Georgian Sunday schools in Belgium.

On 4 December 2025, within the framework of the OSCE Ministerial Council meeting, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Maka Botchorishvili, met with the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Xavier Bettel.
