On 15 May 2026, in Chisinau, within the framework of the 135th Session of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe, The Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Maka Botchorishvili, met with the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Xavier Bettel.

On February 18, 2026, at the Embassy of Georgia to the Kingdom of Belgium and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Mission of Georgia to the European Union, Ambassador Vakhtang Makharoblishvili hosted the representatives of the Defence Institution Building School (DIBS) and the Defence Forces of Georgia who are participating in “Defence and Security Senior Program” organized by the Netherlands Institute of International Relations Clingendael.

On February 10, 2026 Ambassador of Georgia to the Kingdom of Belgium and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Head of the Mission of Georgia to the European Union, H.E. Vakhtang Makharoblishvili held a meeting with the President of the Chamber of Representatives of the Federal Parliament of Belgium, Mr. Peter de Roover.

On February 4, 2026 H.E. Vakhtang Makharoblishvili, Ambassador of Georgia to the Kingdom of Belgium and Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Head of Georgian Mission to the European Union paid a working visit to the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.

On 17 January 2026 the Embassy of Georgia in Brussels hosted a Christmas event for children attending Georgian Sunday schools in Belgium.

On 4 December 2025, within the framework of the OSCE Ministerial Council meeting, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Maka Botchorishvili, met with the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Xavier Bettel.

On 23-24 October 2025, the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Mr. George Zurabashvili paid a working visit to the Kingdom of Belgium.

On 22 October 2025, the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Mr. George Zurabashvili, paid a working visit to the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.

On 18 June 2025 an event marking the opening of Georgia’s first Honorary Consulate in Luxembourg was held. The event was co-organized by the Honorary Consul of Georgia in Luxembourg, Mr. Peter Sodermans and the Embassy of Georgia to the Kingdom of Belgium and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, the Mission of Georgia to the European Union.

As part of the events dedicated to Georgia’s Independence Day, on 11 June 2025, a reception was held at the Embassy of Georgia in Brussels, organized jointly by the Embassy of Georgia to the Kingdom of Belgium and Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, the Mission of Georgia to the European Union, and the Mission of Georgia to NATO.

On May 10, 2025 the Embassy of Georgia to the Kingdom of Belgium, Mission of Georgia to European Union took part in the annual EU Open Day at the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC).

On October 18, 2024, the Embassy of Georgia in the Kingdom of Belgium hosted a delegation of Georgian startups in Brussels. The visit was part of the EU-funded project "Strengthening the Partnership between Georgia and Belgium by Promoting the Temporary Mobility of Entrepreneurs (EMLINK)", implemented by the International Center for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD).
