Ambassador of Georgia paid a working visit to Luxembourg

 
On October 8, 2024 H.E. Vakhtang Makharoblishvili, Ambassador of Georgia to the Kingdom of Belgium and Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Head of Georgian Mission to the EU paid a working visit to the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
 
During his visit, Ambassador Makharoblishvili engaged in discussions with officials from both legislative and executive branches of Luxembourg. This included meetings with Mr. Gusty Graas and Mr. Guy Ardendt, who serve as the Chairs of the Foreign Affairs and Defence Committees of the Chamber of Deputies; as well as Ms. Angèle Da Cruz, the Director of the European Affairs and International Economic Relations Department at the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of Luxembourg, and Mr. Loris Nicoletti, the Diplomatic Advisor to the Prime Minister of Luxembourg.
 
The meetings centered on several important topics, notably the strengthening of bilateral relations between Georgia and Luxembourg; the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries which is celebrated this year. Additionally, the talks addressed the Georgia-EU agenda, as well as issues related to the regional security. The Luxembourg side was also updated about the upcoming parliamentary elections in Georgia.
 
The Ambassador expressed his gratitude to the Luxembourg officials for continues support of Georgia in both bilateral and multilateral formats.
