Visit of the Delegation of the Parliament of Georgia to the Kingdom of Belgium and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg

On 16-18 June 2026, the Chair of the Foreign Relations Committee of the Parliament of Georgia, Nikoloz Samkharadze, and the Chair of the European Integration Committee, Levan Makhashvili, paid a working visit to the Kingdom of Belgium and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
 
Within the framework of this visit, meetings were held with the Chairs of the Foreign Relations and Defense Committees of the Parliament of Luxembourg, as well as with the Director of the Directorate for Political Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Luxembourg. During the visit, in Brussels, the members of the Georgian delegation also had an opportunity to meet with the Deputy Chair of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Chamber of Representatives of the Belgian Parliament and the Director General for Bilateral Relations of the Belgian Federal Public Service Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation.
 
During the meetings, the Georgian side discussed with their colleagues the current dynamics of Georgia-EU relations and the importance of resuming political dialogue, as well as opportunities for strengthening partnerships in both bilateral and multilateral formats.
