Ambassador Vakhtang Makharoblishvili met with the Permanent Representatives of Estonia, Belgium, Austria and Spain to the EU

On September 23-30, 2024, the Ambassador of Georgia to the Kingdom of Belgium and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Head of the Mission of Georgia to the European Union H.E. Vakhtang Makharoblishvili met with the Permanent Representative of Estonia to the EU H.E. Kyllike Sillaste-Elling, with the Permanent Representative of Belgium to the EU H.E. Willem van de Voorde, with the Permanent Representative of Austria to the EU H.E. Thomas Oberreiter and with the Permanent Representative of Spain to the EU H.E. Marcos Alonso Alonso.

 

During the meetings, parties discussed topics related to Georgia’s EU accession as well as the upcoming parliamentary elections in Georgia, scheduled for October 26. At the meetings with Ambassadors, particular attention was paid to the regional security challenges.
