The Embassy of Georgia to the Kingdom of Belgium hosted an informative event on Georgia's vibrant entrepreneurial landscape. This gathering, organized in collaboration with the International Center for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD) and the Embassy, was part of the EU-funded project "Strengthening the Partnership between Georgia and Belgium by Promoting the Temporary Mobility of Entrepreneurs (EMLINK)".

Representatives of the Ministry of Economic and Sustainable Development of Georgia and the Georgian Innovation and Technology Agency (GITA) delivered presentations on Georgia's economic and investment environment, with a focus on entrepreneurial opportunities and the conducive business climate prevailing in Georgia.

The event gathered participants from executive directors and representatives of Belgian companies keen on exploring investment prospects in Georgia. The Honorary Consul of Georgia in Belgium, Yannik Kalantarian, played a pivotal role in fostering engagement with local businesses and facilitating constructive dialogues on Georgia's investment environment.

"Strengthening the Partnership between Georgia and Belgium by Promoting the Temporary Mobility of Entrepreneurs (EMLINK)" is the project of the Belgian government and aims to bolster bilateral cooperation between Georgia and Belgium by establishing an effective framework for the temporary mobility of entrepreneurs. Implemented through ICMPD with the generous support of the European Union, the project enjoys active involvement from relevant state agencies in Georgia.
