Official visit of the Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia to the Kingdom of Belgium and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg

On 22 September 2026, Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia, Shalva Papuashvili, accompanied by a parliamentary delegation, paid an official visit to Brussels. Within the framework of the visit, the Georgian delegation held a meeting with the President of the Chamber of Representatives of the Federal Parliament of Belgium Peter De Roover and with the President of the Senate Vincent Blondel.
 
On 24–25 September 2026, Chairman Shalva Papuashvili, together with the parliamentary delegation, paid an official visit to Luxembourg. Within the framework of the visit, the Georgian delegation held a meeting with the President of the Parliament of Luxembourg Claude Wiseler and members of the Luxembourg Parliament.
 
During the meetings, the sides exchanged views on the dynamics of bilateral cooperation and Georgia–EU relations. Discussions also focused on the ongoing occupation of Georgia’s territories by the Russian Federation, developments in the region, and other issues of mutual interest.
