Working Visit of the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia to the Kingdom of Belgium

On 23-24 October 2025, the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Mr. George Zurabashvili paid a working visit to the Kingdom of Belgium.

Within the framework of the visit, the First Deputy Minister held meetings with the representatives of the executive and legislative branches of the Kingdom of Belgium, including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation, the Federal Parliament, and the Ministry of Asylum and Migration.

During the meetings, the parties discussed a wide range of issues. Particular attention was paid to current developments in Georgia, the agenda of EU-Georgia relations, dynamics of the bilateral and multilateral cooperation between Georgia and Belgium, as well as regional security and the Russia-Georgia conflict. The importance of continued cooperation and dialogue was also underlined.
