Ambassador of Georgia paid a working visit to the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg

On February 4, 2026 H.E. Vakhtang Makharoblishvili, Ambassador of Georgia to the Kingdom of Belgium and Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Head of Georgian Mission to the European Union paid a working visit to the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.

In the framework of the visit, Ambassador met with Mr. Gusty Graas and Mr. Yves Cruchten, Chair and Vice-Chair of Foreign Affairs Committee of the Chamber of Deputies of Luxembourg; as well as with Ms. Véronique Dockendorf, Political Director of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of Luxembourg and Mr. Loris Nicoletti, Diplomatic Advisor of the Prime Minister of Luxembourg.

The meetings centered on several important topics, notably the strengthening of bilateral relations between Georgia and Luxembourg, including the further deepening of collaboration within the multilateral fora. Additionally, the discussions addressed the Georgia-EU agenda, as well as issues related to the regional security.
