Maka Botchorishvili has met with the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Xavier Bettel
On 15 May 2026, in Chisinau, within the framework of the 135th Session of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe, The Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Maka Botchorishvili, met with the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Xavier Bettel.
During the meeting the parties underscored the importance of maintaining dialogue. The discussions focused on relations with the European Union, as well as ongoing developments in the region and in Georgia. Georgia’s progress in terms of economic development and the country’s priorities in this regard were noted. Particular emphasis was placed on Georgia’s role and prospects in the context of regional connectivity.
The discussion also addressed security challenges and the situation in Georgia’s occupied regions. The parties further reviewed issues related to cooperation within multilateral formats.
